You will be asked to agree with the below before finalizing any purchase:
Once you have placed an order for a template and both your payment and book information are recieved we will complete your cover and have a proof back for you to review within 48 hours(usually less), excluding weekends. We will make any minor adjustments you might request, and once you are fully satisfied we will send you the completed files. Minor adjustments include font changes, text placement or color changes.
For the purchase price of a cover we will send you 2 files on completion suitable for ebook use, a 300dpi 2500x1600 jpeg image and a 900x576 72dpi jpeg image to be used for marketing and promotional purposes. If you need a specific size can likely accomodate you at no additional charge, but there may be an additional fee for any non-standard requests.
You will be granted the copyright for the completed design, but we retain the right to display your cover as part of our marketing portfolio. Some stock images used may require a licensing or copyright notice in your front matter, we will advise you if this is necessary and what text to include. We also request, though it is not required, to include a credit in your front matter for Robot Brain Design.
The price includes licensed permission from the company or companies providing the stock photos for up to 250,000 copies. If you exceed 250,000 copies an extended license for each image used in your cover (usually one or two per cover) will need to be purchased from the stock photo house (these are typically $80 per image used). It is the author's responsibility to inform Robot Brain Designs if book sales exceed 250,000 books so these licenses can be purchased, or to obtain them directly. Robot Brain Design will not be held liable for license infringement.
REFUND POLICY - If you decide you are unhappy with your purchase, we will refund the entire purchase price before the delivery of your completed files. There are no refunds after delivery of the final files. To request a refund, send us a contact message and include the template# you purchased.
